They left the planet to us. Now they’re back to take it from the dead.
Long before humans, Earth belonged to the Novari, a race of armoured explorers who seeded the planet with life, then left to roam the stars, promising one day to return.
While they were gone, humans built cities over everything. Then the plague came. Within a year the zombie apocalypse had wiped out almost everyone, and the dead now rule the ruins.
Now the Novari have come home to find their world crawling with the dead. The plague isn’t natural. It’s being spread by The Overmind, an ancient enemy of the Novari that crept onto Earth while they were away and turned humanity into its army.
Nova Ranger is the first Novari soldier to land. His mission: take the planet back. Clear the cities, rescue any humans still alive, and destroy The Overmind before the rest of his people can safely return.
HOW YOU PLAY THE STORY
01Squad mode
Rally the last human survivors. Every gate means more survivors joining or Novari gear dropping in.
02The Overmind’s guardians
The Brute, the Butcher and the Tank each hold a city. The Overmind waits at the end.
03Solo survival
Nova Ranger alone, holding the line until the next drop ship arrives.
04Novari tech
The laser is Novari technology, the strongest weapon in the game.
