Zombie Blast — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026 · App: Zombie Blast (Android package com.zombieblast.game) · Version 1.2.0 and later (current 1.2.5)
This policy explains what information Zombie Blast (“the game”, “we”) and the third-party services it uses collect, and the choices you have. The developer of Zombie Blast is Wee Sidekick Studios.
1. Information the game itself stores
Your game progress (coins, levels, upgrades, settings, statistics and whether you bought Remove Ads) is saved only on your device. We do not run our own servers, we do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of the game shows ads using Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited:
- Rewarded video ads that you choose to watch (for example to revive once per run or to double the coins from a level). They are always optional.
- Interstitial (full-screen) ads occasionally shown between levels. These are switched off if you buy Remove Ads.
To show, measure and limit ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google: your device’s advertising ID (Android Advertising ID), IP address (used to estimate a general location), device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version), and ad interaction data (for example ads shown and tapped) and diagnostics such as crash logs. Google’s use of this information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
The game requests the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission so the advertising ID can be used for ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, at any time in your phone’s Settings → Google → Ads (wording varies by device).
3. Your consent choices (UK, EEA and Switzerland)
If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the game shows Google’s consent message (Google User Messaging Platform) the first time you play, before any ads are requested. You can accept or reject personalised advertising. If you do not consent, Google serves non-personalised (or limited) ads that do not use your past activity. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy options.
Zombie Blast is not directed at children; ad requests are marked as not child-directed. The ads shown are limited to content suitable for a teen audience.
4. In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)
You can buy Remove Ads (a one-time purchase) through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google; we never see or store your card or payment details. Google tells the game only whether the purchase was made, so it can be unlocked and restored (Settings → Restore purchases). See the Google Payments Privacy Notice.
5. Data sharing, sale and retention
We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the Google services above (AdMob and Google Play), the game does not send your data to anyone. Your saved progress stays on your device until you use “Reset progress” or uninstall the game. Data collected by Google is kept according to Google’s policies.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR / EU GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, requests about advertising data are best made to Google, and you can always change your consent in Settings → Privacy options. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office, ico.org.uk).
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new “last updated” date.
